Scars
How it works
Contractubex Gel acts on both old & recent scars they become smoother and the tissue more functional, elastic, strong and less conspicuous. Extractum Allium Cepae inhibits growth of fibroblast and has tissue relaxing, scar softening properties, it also promotes hydration and blood flow to scar tissue. Allantoin stimulates cell renewal without causing multiplication (hyperplasia) & promotes epithelialization. Heparin, exerts smoothening effects on collagenic tissue & also removes hypovascularity by increasing hydration of scar tissue. Heparin also has fibrinolytic activity. The water-soluble fat free hydrogel base mediates the deep penetration of the active ingredients into the skin.
Usage And Safety
Dosage
Contractubex Gel is slightly massaged into the skin or scar tissue 3 to 4 times daily until complete penetration of the gel. In case of hard, old scars Contractubex Gel may be allowed to take effect overnight under a dressing.
