How it works

It is an antitussive medication. Inhibiting the excitability of the cough center this medicine suppresses the cough of any origin .

Usage And Safety

Dosage

It is to be taken 3-4 times a day until the symptoms disappear or as advised by the doctor. Adults : 1-2 teaspoon, 3-4 times daily. Children : 1/2 to 1 teaspoon , 3-4 times daily. Infants ( Age 4-12 mnths ) : 1/4 teaspoon , 3 times daily OR As directed by your physician.

Side Effects

Mild drowsiness may occur in some cases like other cough syrup containing antihistamines.
