Flurbiprofen is utilized for the following therapeutic indications:

• Relief of pain and inflammation in conditions such as arthritis
• Management of acute pain
• Treatment of dysmenorrhea
• Alleviation of postoperative pain
• Symptomatic relief in inflammatory conditions

Use and dose must be determined by the doctor. Usually taken twice daily

Consult a doctor in case of overdosing. Symptoms of overdose include nausea, vomiting and drowsiness

Not to be used by patients with:

• Hepatic porphyrias
• Hematologic (blood) abnormalities.
• Allergy to NSAIDs
• Peptic ulcers
• Rectum inflammation

Common side effects include:

• Nausea, bloating or stomach pain
• Belching, heart burn and indigestion
• Decrease in urine output
• Tarry stools
• Pale skin
• Dizziness
• Headaches

To be used with caution because:

• This raises risk for heart attack and stroke
• This may cause bleeding in stomach and intestines as well as aggravate ulcers.

Provide complete medical history to the doctor before using this in case you are taking any prescription drugs. Do not use if you are using:

• Other NSAIDs
• Diuretics
• ACE inhibitors
• ARBs
• steroids
