Composition:

Rigix oral drops contain 10 mg cetirizine Hydrochloride per ml.

Description:

Cetirizine, an active metabolite of hydroxyzine, is an antihistamine; its principal effects are mediated via selective inhibition of peripheral H1 receptors and are indicated in allergic conditions.

Indications:

Rigix oral drops are indicated for symptomatic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis with or without allergic conjunctivitis, perennial allergic rhinitis as well as pruritus and other symptoms of urticaria of allergic origin

Dosage:

Children 6 months to 11 months: 2.5 mg (5 drops) once daily

Children 1 to 6 years old: 2.5 mg (5 drops) twice daily

Children aged from 6 to 12 years: 10 mg (1 ml or 20 drops) once daily or 5 mg (10 drops) twice daily

Presentations:

Rigix oral drops 10 mg/ml: Bottle containing 15 ml.
